FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
The things people usually ask before they book. Don't see your question here? Call or text and I'll answer it directly.
What's included in the trip price?
All fishing licenses, live bait, rods, reels, tackle, ice, and bottled water are included. Just bring food, sunscreen, and any additional drinks you'd like for the day.
Where do trips depart from?
Charters depart from Maximo Park in St. Petersburg, FL 33711. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your trip start time.
How many anglers can come on a trip?
Inshore trips accommodate up to 4 anglers. Tarpon trips are capped at 3 anglers due to the gear and space needed to fight a large fish.
When is tarpon season?
Tarpon show up in numbers around May and stay through September. Peak bite is usually June and July when the schools are stacked along the beaches and through the passes.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Bryce monitors conditions closely and will reach out the day before your trip if weather looks like it could be a problem. We'll either reschedule for free or work out a refund. Your safety and a good experience come first.
Do I need a fishing license?
No. The boat carries a charter license that covers all anglers on board, so you don't need to buy a separate Florida fishing license for the trip.
Should I tip the captain?
Tipping is appreciated but not required. The industry standard for a great trip is 15–20% of the trip cost.
